Travelling to East Lancashire UC

East Lancashire UC is based across two campuses: ‘Nelson and Colne College’ and ‘Accrington and Rossendale College’. Both are well connected by public transport and major road networks, making it easy for students, staff, and visitors to reach us.

Train

Nelson Railway Station is the closest station, around a 15–20 minute walk or a short bus/taxi ride from campus. Regular services run from Burnley, Colne, Preston, and Blackburn.

Bus

Several local bus routes stop close to the college, including services from Burnley, Colne, Brierfield, and surrounding areas. Stops are located on Scotland Road and the main A682, with some bus services taking students directly to campus grounds.

Car

The campus is just off the M65 (Junction 13), making it easy to reach from across East Lancashire.

Parking

Visitor parking is available on-site. Disabled parking bays are located close to the main entrance.

Accrington Railway Station is approximately a 20-minute walk from campus, with frequent services from Blackburn, Burnley, Manchester, and Preston.

The campus is easily accessible from the A56 and M65.

On-site parking is available for students and visitors, including designated disabled bays.
